Uncle Thomas Comes to Town

Last weekend William's bro Thomas came to town and our friends Ashley and Greg got married at the beach. It was a very active weekend, and Brennan fared very well. I'm pretty sure the above picture is our first family photo, and no better place than on the beach. Ashley and Greg's wedding was beautiful and lots of fun! I don't think I held Brennan much if at all that night. One thing about being the first with a baby is that everybody wants to hold him.

Sunday came with its own set of adventures. After church we went to a great birthday lunch for our friend Michael at Seasons 52 and then went on the boat out in the intercoastal. It was awesome, until the heavens opened up and we were soaked! It was also Brennan's first time with a babysitter- and I think he did fantastically well.

I've had quite a time helping Brennan get used to not being held all the time after this weekend, but I think he's adapting again. Last night he slept 11 hours! Woo Hoo!!

Family Night Out...

So yesterday William and I decided to actually leave the house together with Brennan and go somewhere other than the pediatrician's office. We went to Home Depot Expo to start trying to figure out what we are going to do with our bathroom in a few months. After coming up with some great ideas, we went to dinner at On the Border. Mmm, did someone say margarita?Brennan was relatively chill after he got some food in his belly. After dinner we went to our neighbor's house and I actually got to play a little Wii. I beat William at boxing, but he says its because he was playing with a 4 year old's player. Here's a picture of William and Brennan at dinner. What a fun evening out!

Here goes...

Well after much deliberation, I'm starting a blog. I figure this is a good wayfor my family that is so far away keep up with what's going on here in South Florida as our little boy grows up. I'll just start out with a picture of the little man with William. It's a few weeks old, but I thought it was cute.
